Low-voltage control is an essential procedure to ensure that machines and electrical equipment comply with the EN 60204-1 standard, which is required for certification and commercialization.
This standard is harmonized with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
To carry out electrical safety testing, Italiana Robot uses the CA6155 instrument to perform several tests, including continuity, insulation resistance, dielectric strength and fault loop impedance, ensuring that machinery meets the required standards.
Some tests are mandatory, while others are performed upon customer request.
